First day for
Saddle Ridge Ranch at the Kinsmen Hall (the Kinsmen Club is a services group like Rorary).

Kinsmen Hall - VBS
None of the members of the Home Bible Study group have school age children. They have been advertising around the Chéticamp community and praying for parents to bring their children. Last year they had 5 in VBS and are anticipating 7 or 8 this year. We have been praying for 15 (last year at Antigonish we only had 2). The hall is open and will accommodate a group this size.
Our first “crowd” – we’ve already beat last year, we have three! They settle right in and get involved with crafts, singing and dancing to the music videos, watching the daily video clips and sharing in the Bible study. We encourage them to invite and bring some other kids tomorrow (with incentives – prizes for those who bring a friend).

Monday's "Crowd" - 12 to go!

After a light breakfast we headed out for the Search and Rescue Hall where the group meets once a month for worship. Counting our team, there were about 35. This is a special time for them. It turned out to be a real special time of worshup for us. One lady drove with her daughters from Dingwall which is an hour and a half north, through the National Park, on the Cabot Trail.

Sunday Worship
Sunday evening we traveled south to Margaree Valley Baptist Church for their evening worship service. The church has been there for over 150 years and is one of the few remaining evidences of a spiritual awakening that swept Nova Scotia in the mid 19th century.

Along with the work in Chéticamp there are also house groups meeting on Cape Breton Island in Baddeck, Dingwall and Port hood. Another group from SC had been working at Baddeck the week before and groups will be coming in August to work at Port Hood and Dingwall. Be in much prayer for them
